COJUG Code Camp - Mar 31st 2007

03/31/2007 - COJUG Code Camp: Experience Java EE 5 - Free event sponsored by Compuware, Judd Solutions and Integrallis!

Description:

Are you ready for Java™ EE 5? If not, the goal of this code camp is to prepare Java™ developers for Java™ EE 5 before most of the application servers even support it. This is a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience before companies beginning adopting the new standard. Using a combination of lectures taught by published Java™ authors and labs, attendees will learn valuable skills in EJB3, JSF, AJAX and JBoss Seam by completing a small functional application.

Syllabus:

  • Java 5 Foundational Elements
  • EJB3 and JPA
  • Lab 1
  • JSF
  • Lab 2
  • AJAX
  • Lab 3
  • JBoss Seam

Space is limited to 45 attendees so register soon.

Registration

Prerequisites:

  • This is not a beginner's event. It is assumed that all attendees will have a solid background in Java and web development.
  • Experience in J2EE is a plus.
  • This is a hands-on event so it is recommended you bring a laptop so you can complete the labs through out the day.
